(3.40 a.m.), 1,675 tons, Dalglish, from Wellington, The Kini is expected to-morrow from Westport via Bluff to discharge a cargo of coal. After completing discharge she will load general cargo for Timaru, Lyttelton, and Westport, and is scheduled to sail to-morrow. • The Totara, from New Plymouth, is due on Wednesday" morning and is to sail fhe same day to work cargo at Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and New Plymouth. The Wingatui is to leave Welliugton to-morrow for Lyttelton and Dunedin. She is due on Thursday afternoon, and is to sail again on (Saturday for Oamaru', Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Auckland. The Opihi is to leave Wellington on Friday for Dunedin, Arriving on Monday, she will load and sail for Wellington, Nelson, and New Plymouth via Oamaru, Timaru, and Lyttelton, The Poolta arrived early this morning from Wellington, and was to have sailed to-morrow for Napier and Gisborne via Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, and Wellington, but she had been delayed by rain, and will now sail tomorrow evening. ' The Waimarino was to have left Dunedin to-day for Auckland via ports, but the wot weather delayed her, and she will not now sail till to-morrow afternoon. . , The Port Waikato is due on Wednesday from Lyttelton, and will sail for Bluff on Wednesday. She will return to Dunedin on Friday and will sail later for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Tauranga, Auckland, and Whangarei. The Holmglen is expected on Wednesday from 'Wellington for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Wanganui, New Plymouth, and Waikato. THE FERRY SERVICE. The ferry steamer Maori arrived at Lyttelton from Wellington at 6.40 a.m. to-day. Passengers and mails for tho south connected with the express. . lONIC RADIOS. A radio message received from the Tonic bv the National Mortgage and Agency'Co. Ltd. states that the vessel has been delayed by had weather and is now expected to arrive at Wellington at 5 p.m. on Thursday. She will leave the following evening, and is duo at Lvttelton on Saturday morning, and should be at Port Chalmers on Tuesday or Wednesday of next week. WAIKOUAITI FROM SYDNEY. The Union Steam Ship Company advises that the Waikouaiti is expected to leave Sydney to-morrow for Bluff and Dunedin, thence Timaru, Lyttelton, and Oamaru. She is duo at Dunedin on September 2G. WAIPIATA’S PROGRAMME. The Union Steam Ship Company has advised that its next sailing from Auckland will be the Waipiat on Friday next for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Bluff. She is duo hero on 'Wednesday, September 27. NEW COASTAL VESSEL. The motor vessel Foxton, which arrived here yesterday from Wellington, is making her first visit to this port. She was built at Auckland about two years ago, and was purchased by tho Canterbury Steam Shioping Company Ltd. This vessel has been employed iu the Lyttelton-Foxton trade for some time. As the company’s steamer Calm has been withdrawn from service, the Foxton will make regular visits to Dunedin. She was to have _ sailed this morning for Wellington via ports, but has been delayed by wot weather. PERSONAL.” Mr H. Weston has been engaged as third mate on tho Hauraki, relieving Mr H. H. Pike. Mr A. G. Brebner lias been engaged as junior engineer on the same vessel. CITY OF SINGAPORE. Tho City of Singapore is reported as having loft New Orleans on August 30 and Galveston on September 5 for Auckland, where she is now due about October 2.

THE PORT ALMA. The Commonwealth and Dominion Lino motor vessel Port Alma, which is due at Auckland from Liverpool on September 24, has cargo for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. After discharge the vessel will load for London and West Coast ports of Great Britain at Dunedin, Bluff, Wanganui, New Plymouth, Wellington, Napier, and Auckland. She is scheduled to leave Auckland for London on October 30. PACIFIC MAIL SERVICES. —Southward.— Makura left San Francisco August 30 for Wellington and Sydney via Papeete and Rarotonga.
