The usual meeting of the committee just before the Spring Show on October 4 and 6. will not be held this year,, as all arrangements are completed. A! big exhibit is expected from Larnach, Castle, and keen competition in the daffodil classes will keep judges busy* In fact, so extensive have the amateur, classes become at the Spring Show that it has been found necessary to appoint two judges for this section alone. It is to be hoped that we shall again sea as good or better collections of poly* anthus. The degree of perfection to which this delightful spring flower has been brought is little short of marvellous. Flowers the size of half-crowns,-and colours from the deepest blue to real tangerine are now plentiful,-
