'THE NEW REVEILLE’
A glance at the display of handcoloured photographs of the musical extravaganza (thirty groups ,of ballets and choruses now on exhibition, m the D I.C. window) will tend to show the lavish scale on which ‘The New Reveille ’ Will be presented. The produc tion is under the auspices of the Plunket Society, and produced by Mb W. .Lints, of ‘ Reveille ’ fame. The season opens next Saturday at His Majesty’s for a short season. A full rehearsal was held on Saturday, and Mr Lints is delighted with his army of performers, especially the orchestra, which is under the capable direction of Mr Arthur Frost, and Mr V. Stapp and staff will he very busy this week making preparations for lighting and scenic effects which will be a feature of the production. ‘ Reveille ’ performances are renowned for speed and pep,, as thirtyone different attractions will be presented in two and three-quarter hours, with five minutes’ interval. Two hundred and sixty performers will taka part. Plans are now open at the D.I.C.
