[Contributed.] The children from the N.E.H. School were taken for a rare treat on Thursday, being conveyed by launch to Port Chalmers, there to take part in. a sightseeing tour of the cruiser in port, children and parents alike greatly enjoying this outing, despite adverse weather conditions. As indicated by the score, the football match between Macandrew Bay and Tomahawk, played at Tomahawk on Saturday, was evenly contested, Tomahawk winning by 6 points to 4. Due no doubt to the beautiful weather that has been experienced, followers of summer sports are to be seen. Tennis has now started, and on Saturday the first of bathers were oufjlfsoveral swimmers enjoying a dip.
