MEMORIAL TO MR HINKLER Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, September 17. (Received September 18, at 12.55 p.m.) The Arezzo monument to Mr Hinkler was unveiled at Pass Dell Avachie at an altitude of 3,200 ft., Designed by the architect Pelleri, it is in the form of a 7ft column, on which a liCtor s fasces are crossed by a Roman eagle m flight, and is inscribed “ To the long-dis-tance flyer Herbert Hinkler, who fell here. 8/1/XL,” the last figures standing for the eleventh year of the Fascist era. A distinguished assemblage included Colonel Stevens, British Military Attache at Rome.
