TECHNICAL COLLEGE BOARD
ELECTION OF MEMBERS Nominations closed to-day for seats on the Technical College Board of Managers as representatives of the parents of pupils and of the school committees respectively, and in each instance only one nomination was received. As the parents’ representative on the board, Mrs Mary Gumming was reelected, and the school committees’ representative will be Mr H. Johnson. The appointment of a representative of the Education Board has not yet been made, but the following members of the Technical College Board have been re-elected:— Mrs A. Herbert (representing the associations of the employees). Mr F. L. Lawrence (representing the employers). Mr C. H. Hayward (representing the local bodies).
