(Received September 18, at 11.30 a.m.)i The Federal Attorney - General urges legislation making for uniformity in the marriage laws of the various States, as this is the only solution for cases such as that which arcs# recently, when a widow in New South Wales was unable to obtain the administration of her husband’s estate because her marriage to him was held to be invalid. He married her over twenty years ago, having divorced his former wife, but neglected to have the decree nisi made absolute.
