The ‘ Daily Telegraph’s ’ Berlin correspondent says: “Though official tongues and pens are daily declaring that the clouds of depression are rapidly dispersing, the ‘ Berliner Tageblatt ’ shows that since the end of July shares quoted on the Bourse reveal an aggregate drop of £25,000,000. Since 1929 the total value has fallen from £825,000,000 to £350,000,000.”
