“SACRED WARRIORS”
PLOT IN JAPAN HAUL OF OLD SWORDS. TOKIO, August 26. The arrest of six members of a body called the Imperial Fanners’ League, who were to have attended a prayer meeting in Tokio, brings to 120 the total of persons detained in connection with the reactionary plans which gave rise to the recent rumours of a political murder plot. The six persons seized came to Tokio, where Japanese swords were given to them at the headquarters of the Sacred Warriors, but, learning that the plot had been discovered, returned to tho country. One hundred and eight words, purchased from curio dealers, have been found in. various hiding places, but no firearms or explosives. The police believed that they had rounded up all those connected with the affair, wnich, though larger than at first supposed, still suggests a demonstration iother than a serious plot.
