RELATION TO COALITION
PRIME MINISTER'S COMMENTS [From Oub Parliamentary Reporter.] WELLINGTON, January 26. In the opinion, of the Prim© Minister Mr A. J. Stallworthy is no longer ai member of the'Coalition. Interviewed to-day regarding the position of the member for Eden, who has openly declared himself a supporter of Mr Downie Stewart and a definite opponent of the Government on the exchange issue, Mr Forbes said that Mr Stallworthy had been absenting himself from the caucus for quite a long time, and probably could be regarded as having definitely severed his connection with the Coalition. “He could probably be quite rightly regarded as among those who wish to see Mr Coates and myself out.”
