An unofficial strike of London busmen against the new speeding-up order, which commenced in an East End garage on Tuesday, has now spread, and is paralysing half the services, involv- ' ing 10,000 men and 1,891 buses. Communist agitators are prominent _in fomenting the trouble, distributing “ Bed ” literature at garages. Officials of the Transport Workers’ Union are vainly endeavouring to persuade the men to return to work.
