JUNIOR ATHLETICS.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —On behalf of a very large section of the junior section of the Dunedin athletes I wish to make a proposal. That is, to include in the sports meetings which are held by the various clubs and the Otago Centre some events for juniors (under eighteen or nineteen) — i.e., 100yds, broad jump, or one-mile handicap. As our future champions depend largely on our juniors it is only right that they should receive some consideration in competitions. There are a very large number of juniors in our clubs this season, and if it were found possible to include some events for them they would be greatly appreciated.—l am, etc., ‘ Junior. December 15.
