(lleccived October 13, at 9.50 a.m.) The Board of Trade returns for September, compared with the corresponding period of the previous year, are issued. The total imports for September were £54,266,000; the total exports £26,228,000, and the re-exports £2,901,000. The principal decreases were: Imports—Grain and flour, £739,000; meat, £914,000; animals for food, £957,000; wood and timber, £692,000; iron ana steel and manufactures thereof, £967,000; cotton yarns manufactures, £697,000; woollen ditto, £1,150,000; apparel, £1,383,000: vehicles, £606,000. Exports—Coal, £604,000; vehicles, £969,000. Increases: Imports—Raw cotton, £959,000. Exports—Cotton yarns manufactures, £660,000.
