NEW SOUTH WALES GOVERNMENT'S PROPOSALS Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright SYDNEY, October 13. (Received October 13, at 10 a.m.) Widows’ pensions will be reduced from £1 for a widow and 10s for a child to 17s 6d and 8s 9d respectively, bringing them into line with the Federal scale. An extension of the powers and an increase in the personnel of the Public Service Board, an adjustment of the endownment payments, and the above reductions in pensions are the features of Bills which the Government has introduced in the Assembly in connection with its Budgetary proposals.
