Szigeti plays from his very soul. He employs no platform tricks, and no unusual renderings of his items in order to impress his audiences. Far from it, as one famous critic said: “The union of his serene and flawless art, with a programme of. exceptional beauty and significance, made of his concert a musical experience as rare as it was memorable.” Szigeti will render items by Bach, Busoni, Paganini, Schubert, Tartini, Beethoven, and other masters. Assisting him will be Prince Magaloft, a pianist of rare artistry, who has greatly impressed critics throughout the world. At the Thursday night concert Szigeti will play in conjunction with the Symphony Orchestra.
