AIRMAN’S BODY FOUND
PICKED UP IN TRAWLER'S NETS PARACHUTE STILL ATTACHED. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, August 1. (Received August 2, at 10 a.m.) The headless decomposed body of an airman, presumably British, was found in the nets of a trawler operating between Scotland and tho Hebrides. The only mark of identification was a trouser tab bearing a label “ Goodes Officers and Stores, Portsmouth.” The body, which was still attached to a parachute, is thought possibly to be that of some missing transatlantic llyer.
