ON THE BOLLERS
MURRAY'S RINK To-night the first big fancy dress skating carnival of the season will be held at Murray’s, when competitions and novelty events will be held. Prizes will be given to the winners of these, and also for the best fancy dress. One of the main attractions will be the tug of war on skates, which should provide interesting competition and amusement. Skaters and the public, who have attended late nights and car nivals at Murray’s in the past, will remember the fun and thrills and special attractions offered, and will doubtless throng to see to-night’s entertainment. Beginners receive special attention, and advanced skaters are taught fancy steps and trick skating by competent instructors. KING'S RINK Being close to the centre of the city the King’s Skating Rink in Dowling street is a very popular place of amusement, and there is always a pleasing programme of all descriptions of skating. During “ Come to Dunedin Week ” the carnival spirit is reigning at the King’s, where special programmes have been arranged.
