Bishop Whyte left this morning for Invercargill to attend a conference of clergy there. Hr C. R. Burns was a passenger by the north express this ■ lining en. route .to England. Mr H. R Mercer (of the Egypt General Mission), who has been lecturing in Otago and Southland, and who gave an address to the students of the ' University last night, left for Wanganui this morning, accompanied by Mr Alex.
