LAW FACULTY ANNUAL BALL

A very successful ball under the auspices of the Law Faculty was held on Friday evening in tho Concert Chamber of the Town Hall, when, upwards of 150 couples were present. The beautiful hall, which needs little by way of outside decoration, was simply but tastefully arranged with pot plants and greenery. A delightful orange glow was cast over tho dancing floor by the prettily-shaded lights, and that, combined with the charming frocks of the ladies, made a most attractive scene.

Tho chaperones for the evening were Mrs J. B. Callan (who wore a becoming gown of black faconno velvet with coatee to match) and Mrs J. B. Nichol (whoso frock was of black lace and georgette, with which was worn a rich red brocade coat). The faculty was also honoured by the presence of Mr Justice Kennedy and Mrs Kennedy, the latter wearing a frock of ruby lace and georgette. Among those present were Mr and Mrs A. C.
