WOMEN RECOGNISE HIM FROM DESCRIPTION [Per United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, May 3. Three women walking down Adelaide road shortly after 3 this morning noticed that the appearance of a man in front of them coincided with the description published last night of William Alexander Crosslin, who escaped troin the Mount Cook Police Station yesterday morning. They conveyed their suspicions to Constable Cave, who arrested Crossan in the vicinity of the Basin Reserve. Crossan appeared in court this morning charged with breaking and entering the residence of Dr Ewart, being in possession by night of house-breaking instruments, and being an incorrigible rogue in that he escaped from custody.
