An electrically lighted helmet, like a miner's bead lamp, was recently exhibited lor motorists in London. An electric bulb in the helmet aids night driving by directing a beam of light upon a road map or instrument board, or damaged parts of the car. The motorist’s hands are left free, and repairs or adjustments are easily made to the machine. A battery supplying current to the lamp is self-contained in the novel headgear.
