A young French scientist declares that the tongue reveals these secrets of the character of the owner:—A long tongue, frankness; a broad tongue, expansiveness ; a narrow tongue, concentration; a long and wide tongue, gossip. A narrow and short tongue, he says, means cunning and capacity for lying.
