FORBURY SCHOOL COMMITTEE
TO THE EDITOR. Sir,—On Monday evening next the householders in the school districts will have an opportunity of again expressing their confidence in their representatives on the school committees. Forbury is the district in which I am particularly interested, and 1 would like to express my appreciation of the work done by tho present committee, and in particular that of the treasurer, Mr A. 10. Poulter. Mr Poulter took office under very adverse conditions, and it is mainly duo to his efforts and enthusiasm that the school is in its present happy state of finance. As treasurer of tho School Committee and also treasurer of the Social Committee Mr Poulter lias been indefatigable in his work on behalf of tho school. I am sure the School Committee must be deeply indebted to the band of ladies and gentlemen who rallied to their assistance and formed a social committee to raise funds for tho improvement of tho school conditions. This social committee has held several dances which I have had the pleasure of attending, and nothing but praise can bo given to its untiring efforts. Forbury School is indeed fortunate in the choice qf its representatives on the School_ Committee and more than fortunate in having such a live social committee to assist them in their work.—l am, etc., Honour to Whom. April 15.
