POLICE HUNT CONTINUES .WANTED MAN SEEN. Press Association—By Telegraph-Copyright, SYDNEY, April 14. The police .hunt _ for the Burwood murderer was intensified to-day. Frank Corbett, a. resident of Bankstown, an outer suburb, told the detectives that the man they wanted called at hia house in the morning. Corbett, w,ho had given the same man a meal a week Defore, ordered him off the premises, and while he was escaping in the scrub nearby Corbett fired a rifle at him, without effect. He recognised the man’s face by a photograph which ap* peared in the newspapers, and he in. tended to shoot him on sight next time.The municipal council at Alexandria urges that when the murderer is convicted there should not be political in* torference with the court's verdict.
