(Received April 15, at 8.40 a.m.) The Hooper Medical Foundation of the University of California reported to-day that Phar Lap died of colic or acute indigestion condition. The report said the condition probably resulted from fermentation of food in his stomach, causing bloating or distention of the muscles of the heart and stopping that organ.
