DISSOLUTION OF PARLIAMENT SOUGHT BY CABINET Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. MELBOURNE, April 14. The Acting Premier (Mr T. Tunnicliffe), at the request of the Victorian Cabinet, is to-day seeking a dissolution ot Parliament. DISSOLUTION GRANTED. MELBOURNE, April 14. The Lieutenant-Governor (Sir William Irvine) granted a dissolution for the Victorian Assembly, the election for which will be held towards the end of May. REASON FOR DISSOLUTION; MELBOURNE, April 15. (Received April 15, at 9 a.m.) The decision of the Lieutenant Governor to dissolve the Victorian Assembly had the approval of the leader of the Opposition (Sir Stanley Argyle) and the leader of tho United Country Party (Mr Allan). However, fow r people expected a dissolution, which, of course, was recommended by the acting Premier owing to the failure to win hack certain members of the Labour Party, who wore determined not to repudiate the financial rehabilitation plan..
