(Received April 15, at 12.45 p.m.) Pilot-officer Adrian John Warfordmoin, aged twenty-two, an Australian attached to the Digby Training School, crashed in a single-seater Avro, which burst into flames at East Winch (West Norfolk), and was killed outright. Ho was burnt beyond recognition. An eyewitness saw the machine flying low and circle twice, as though seeking a’ landing place. It then suddenly nosedived.
