SEVEN-A-SIDE TOURNAMENT The Rugby season will open to-mor-row with a seven-a-side tournament at Carisbrook, commencing at 1.30. Che tournament consists of a senior and junior competition and some fast football should be witnessed during thejafternoon. The first round of the senior competition will be played at Carisbrook as follows:—Pirates y. Zingari, 1.30; Southern v. Dunedin, 1.45; University, v. Kaikorai, 2; Alhambra v. Taieri,. 2.15; Union v. winner of Pirates v* Zingari, 2.30. The first round of the junior compel tition will be played at Montecillo as follows:—Pirates v. Dunedin, 1.30;; Kaikorai v. High School, 1.44; Zingarij v. M'Glashan, 1.58; Alhambra v. University, 2.12; Ravensbourne v. Southern, 2.26; Brighton v. Union, 2.40. After the first round all teams willj proceed to Carisbrook, where the remaining rounds of the junior competition will be played. The proceeds from’ the tournament will be divided amougsfj the local clubs.
