Mr Victor Schaumburg, the racing secretary of the Saratoga and Belmont Parks, announced that he has advised Mr Davis that there is a possibility that a special race may be arranged in the East for Phar Lap this summer if the Australian horse shows his usual form at Agua Caliehte, However, it appears that the opportunities for Phar Lap to enter the regular Eastern races are, few since virtually all the big handicaps suitable for Phai; Lap had already closed.
