PORT CHALMERS REGATTA

Fine weather is all that will be required to ensure a successful regatta on Saturday next at Port Chalmers. Spectators will have an excellent view of the racing, as the course from Bonner’s to a line from the George street pier to the bow of the hulk Broxton will enable them to have a close-up view of practically half the course. Entries for the various events, are good. They comprise senior fours, senior pairs, senior double sculls, junior fours, junior pairs, junior double sculls, maiden fours, maiden pairs, maiden double sculls, youths’- fours, youths’ pairs, youths’ double sculls.
