WORK FOR TO-MORROW Groups will report for work to-mor-row (Friday), February 26, as under; — Otago Education Board —8 a.m., at Ford’s byre, Pine Hill: Groups 89, 59, 60. Corporation Works Department.— Men in group No. 2,who lost time on February 18 at Sligo terrace and have not yet had an opportunity to complete time so lost will be given an opportunity of working up to four hours on Saturday morning, February 27, commencing at 7.30. DOWLING STREET DEPOT On Tuesday of this week orders for the purchase of provisions were given to 250 men on their stand-down week who made application to the Dowling street depot, and on Wednesday orders were given to a further 197 men. The depot is badly in need of men’s working boots and clothing. POUND'A'WEEK SCHEME A final meeting of the North End Committee and various Scout troops engaged in the organisation of the pound-a-week scheme will be held in the George Street School Hall at 8 o’clock to-mor-row evening.
