PAIRS COMPETITION CONTINUED FINDING GREEN WINNERS Conditions were improved to-day for the ladies” bowling tournament, which is now in its final stages. The fourth round of the pairs competition was played this morning on the Mornington, Kaikorai, Anderson’s Bay, Northeast Valley, and Green Island greens, and section winners were to play off this afternoon to determine the green winners. Results: — NORTH-EAST VALLEY GREEN, SECTION A. Miss Whelan (Mornington) 23, Mrs Brough (Caversham) 18. Mrs Matthewson (Port Chalmers) 23, Mrs Crow (Anderson’s Bay) 18. Mrs Faulks (Pembroke) 15, Mrs Adess (St. Kijda) 13. Miss Whelan and Mrs Matthewson were to play off to find the section winner. ' SECTION B.
