Representative Britten has requested a Congressional investigation of the “ reign of terror ” which is reported to be imminent in Hawaii, and he demands naval occupation until order is restored. . Meanwhile Major Granville Fortescuo, who is ill with pneumonia in New York, has become gravely ill owing to worry concerning his wile’s difficulties in Honolulu. Other members of the family plan to hurry to the assistance of Mrs Fqrtescue and Lieutenant Mussie. QUICK TRIAL URGED. HONOLULU, January 11. (Received January 12, at noon.) The prosecutor will ask for the death sentence for Mrs Fortoscuc, Lieutenant Massic, and two naval enlisted men for tlio murder, and will demand a speedy trial. [A message published yesterday stated that Mrs Fortescuc and Lieutenant Massie had been arrested in connection with the lynching of a native youth in Honolulu.}
