SUNDAY SERVICES

At First Church the Rev. W. Allen Stevely.will preach in the morning on ‘ The New Song,’ and in the evening, on ‘ What Are Your Resolves Forj 1932? ’ Dr Galway will be at the or-' gau, and in the evening Miss Evelyn Shepard will sing ‘On My Shepherd-. 1 Rely ’ (J. S. Bach), .1 The preacher at Knox Church at both' l services will be Principal Dickie, D. 1).! At the evening service Miss Irena Horniblow will sing ‘.O Divine Redeemer.’ , The Rev. A. E. Orr (Auckland) will) conduct the morning service at the Central Mission, and the Rev. W. Hv Greenslade in the evening; Miss, Rita Holmes will take part in the evening service. The communion service will be held at the close of evening worship. At the St. Kilda Methodist Church' the Rev. Percy Paris will conduct services, preaching in the morning on ‘ The Christian’s Possessions ’ and in the evening on ‘ The New Replacing the Old.’ The Rev. N. L. Blamires will conduct services at Cargill Road Methodist Church. * The King’s Highway ’ will be the evening subject. At St. Clair Methodist Church services will be conducted by the Rev. W< H. Greenslade and Mr R. F. Driver. During this month the Congregationalists and Methodists are holding combined services alternately in the Congregational and Trinity Methodist Churches. To-morrow divine worship will be conducted by the Rev. H. E. Bellhouse in the Moray Place Congregational Church, his morning and evening subjects being ‘ The World Without a Church’ and ‘The Sin of. Low Expectation ’ respectively. Miss Evelyn Shepard will sing Gounod’s ‘ There is a Green Hill.* First Church of Christ Scientist Dunedin, branch of the Mother Church, Boston, will hold services in Allbell Chambers, Stuart street, at 11 a.m,and 7 p.m. The subject will be ‘ Sacrament.’ At the United Congregational Church Mr .A. E. Stevens will preach in the morning and Mr J. Arthur Wilkinson in the evening. * An Estimate of Christ ’ will be the subject of Mr A. Loudon’s address at York Place Hall in the evening. Adjutant Tong will address the morning service at the Salvation Army, Dowling street, on ‘A Duty,’ and the evening service on f The World’s Saviour.’ The afternoon service will bo conducted by Bro. H. Tong, of Palmerston North. At the Spiritualist Church in the evening those who attend will have an , opportunity of hearing a trance address recently given through Mrs Henry Morris, of London, through her spirit guide, “ Power.”
