Ten minutes after leaving Krumbach a party of seven German skiers saw a party of four, including a girl, buried m an avalanche. Instead of going to the rescue or returning to Krumbach for help they continued their tour, and only reported the disaster at Mittelber’g six hours later, when a party of twenty-one rushed off and found the four bodies beneath sft of snow.
