THE POSITION IN BRITAIN Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, January 7. The Board of Trade ‘ Journal’s ’ figures show that since Great Britain .went off the gold standard the food prices average has increased by 5 per cent, and industrial materials by about 9 per cent.
