THE FIRE AT PARKES Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. SYDNEY, January 5. The Parkes fire destroyed two largo stores and severely damaged a hairdressing saloon, a billiard saloon, and the Clubhouse Hotel, The losses are estimated at many thousands of pounds. The origin of the fire is not known.
