ROYAL TENNIS FOLLOWERS
The King has been a good lawn tennis player, and understands all the finer points of the game. He and the Queen have watched the finals at Wimbledon on many occasions, and are expected again this year. At three “ Wimbledons ” H.R.H. the Duke of York has played in doubles. Princess Mary lias from childhood been keen on lawn tennis. She saw Suzanne Lenglen win the singles championship at the old ground, and shared visibly in the intense excitement. Other Royal visitors who were seen at Wimbledon include King Manoel and Queen Augusta Victoria, who are always regular spectators. Princess Ingrid of Sweden is as interested in lawn tennis ns the King of Sweden, and King Alfonso has often been an occupant of the committee box in bygone years.
