BffiCHWOOD MEETING POST. PONED.
An Association message from Invercargill states that the annual race meeting of the Birchwood Hunt Club has been postponed indefinitely, the executive deciding that conditions are unfavourable for racing this month. The meeting may be held later in the year.
DAVIS CUP TENNIS. Prew Association—By Telegraph—Copyright; PARIS, January 5. (Received January 6, at 1 p.m.) Lacoste has informed the Lawn Tennis Federation that his health is completely restored and that he is willing to rejoin the Davis Cup team.
