D.J.C. MEETING WEATHER AGAIN FINE AT WINGATUI The weather was again flue for the concluding day of the Dunedin Jockey Club’s Meeting. The track was in good order and the attendance large. Bitractor was tho first to show out, but Red Racer took charge at the far turn and had two lengths’ lead from Filosol, Bitractor, and Evening. Entering the straight Filosol joined Red Racer, being well clear of Royal Limond and Taboo. Caterpillar, Greenaway, and El Boa were the first to show out, and at the far turn El Boa and Caterpillar were two lengths in front of Greenaway, who was two lengths clear of Captivate. El Boa, Royal Saxon, and Greenaway led into the straight, where Solmar came up and in a close finish won by half a length, a head separating second and third. True, Imin 15sec.

MANAWATU R.D. The second day of the Manawatu Racing Club’s Meeting was held in showery weather before another large attendance. The course was in good order.
