* REPAIRING THE STORM. The repairing of the steamer Storm, which was recently damaged in. a fog, is being carried out at Lyttelton by the Stevenson and Cook Engineering Company, of Port Chalmers. Eleven new bottom plates are to be fitted, with a new collision bulkhead, and all the floor frames and intercostals inside the new plating. Other items of repair include 60ft of new bilge keel. The work is to be completed by the end of Janufor repairing the steamer Breeze, which was damaged in the same foggy weather as the Storm, are under consideration.. Should the tender prices exceed expectations there is a probability that the vessel, which has seen a good many years of service, may be scrapped. TANKER’S DEPARTURE.
