NKW YORK, December 26. A message from San Diego states that after a hurried conference with Mr CVol'ton, tho manager of the Agua Calient© Jockey Club, Mr Davis returned to San Francisco, reassured concerning Phar Lap’s trip to America. Mr Crofton said
sured him that we intended to reopen after January 1 and that the handicap would be run. He seemed much relieved and satisfied after our conference.”
