SPORTS AT EDENDALE
[Per United Press Association.] INVERCARGILL, December 25. For the first time in Southland New Zealand championship events figured on the programme at the Edondale sports this afternoon. The 100yds was won by N. D. M'Corkindale, of Tuatapere, in llsec, and the 440yds by J. Senior, of Lumsden, in 55 l-ssec. The medals were presented by the PostmasterGeneral (Mr A. Hamilton), who congratulated the society on obtaining the championships.
