MOTOR TRUCKS COLLIDE

TWO DRIVERS INJURED A collision between two motor trucks on the Main South road about two miles from Henley, occurred on Saturday evening, the two drivers, James Drummond and George Wickens, being brought in to the hospital. Drummond, a married man, 50 years of age, residing at Riverton, suffered severe chest injuries, and Wickens, who is a married man, 34 years of age, residing at Riverton, received face and leg injuries. Drummond, who was driving a light truck, was driving south when he collided with a much heavier vehicle loaded with wool. His lorry was severely damaged in the fore carriage, the smashing of which caused his injuries. Wickens, the driver of the heavy truck, was less seriously injured, his lorry suffering little damage. Neither of the men is dangerously injured.
