COLLISION IN FOG
BRITISH RAILWAY ACCIDENT TWO DEATHS (British Official Wireless.)' Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright RUGBY, December 19, (Received December 21, at noon.) Two persons were killed and 'about 30 injured in a railway- collision during a dense fog late last night at Dagenham (Essex), when the 9.20 passenger train from Fenchurch street, London,to Tilbury ran into the rear part of a freight train between Barking and Dagenham stations. The engine and four passenger coaches were badly damaged. Four trucks were also derailed. One passenger and a guard on the freight train were killed. Rescue work was rapidly organised, hut it was hampered by fog.
