The latest information, confirms the impression that the Imperial Conference will not resume for at least sis months. _ Indeed, it is now hinted that August is the most likely time and that the venue will be Ottawa. ,• ' MR THOMAS’S INTENTIONS. LONDON, November 5. (Received November 6, at 10 a.m.) Mr Thomas declines to comment on the report that he is visiting the dominions, but the Australian Press Association from the highest quarter confirmed that he is leaving almost immediately, first for Canada, then for Australia and New Zealand, completing his tour before the Imperial Conference. The chief purpose is to familiarise himself with the feeling in the dominions, and: _to prepare the ground for commercial agreements so as to ensure the success of the conference.
