SPARKLING COMEDY ENTERTAINMENT

PRINCESS’S BILL FOR TO-MORROW El Bromlcl needs no introduction to Dunedin theatre-goers, for after Ids comedy work in ‘ Just Imagine ’ the Swedish humorist became an established favourite. Equally popular in tho realm of farce is that vivacious and fascinating French comedienne, Fill D’Orsay. Tho appearance of either one of these stars in a picture would bo regarded as sufficient f to ensure uproarious hilarity, so that it. will bo easy to appreciate tho sparkling entertainment that is in store for patrons of tho Princess Theatre when ‘Mr Lemon of Orange ’ commences to-morrow. Both HI Brcndel and Fill D’Orsay are at their funniest in. this film that was ,specially written .for.,them. Brcndel has the role of the inoffensive Mr Lemon, a clerk in a toy Shop who has tho misfortune to bear a remarkable resemblance to “ Silent M.‘Goo,” the most dangerous gangster in tho underworld. The fun begins when Lemon accidentally steps into a gang war and is bailed.as tho big Criminal. Fill D’Orsay, a cabaret singer whoso brother has been killed _by M‘Geo, looks upon bis introduction into the proceedings as nothing short of, providential, for she has vowed all kinds of vengeance against tho gangster. Her attempts to lord Brcndel into admitting the crime, and his equally diverting attempts to understand what tho whole thing is about, provide amusement that is too funny for description here. From start to finish tbo stars keep tbo entertainment spinning along at high speed, and there can bo no doubt that all lovers of real comedy should bo well catered for at the. Princess Theatre next week. A full supporting programme will bo presented with ‘ Mr Lemon of Orange.’ Book at Tbo Bristol.
