TRAINING COLLEGE TOURNAMENT CHRISTCHURCH WINS THE SHIELD (Per United Press Association.] CHRISTCHURCH, August 5. Although tho annual Training College tournament was robbed of much of its interest owing to Christchurch having won the shield on tho first day’s events, Dunedin regained some of its lost prestige to-day by winning tho men’s hockey by 3 goals to 0, and the football by 6 points to 3. By winning the ladies’hockey by 4 goals to 1 Christchurch won the tournament by five events to two.
