THEFT ALLEGED
A PARTNERSHIP AFFAIR [Per United Press Association.] CHRISTCHURCH, August 5. Twelve charges of stealing moneys totalling £lO5 between February, 1926, and December, 1930, from Munro and Hickiubottom, tailors, were made against Robert John Munro, aged fiftysix, before tbo magistrate (Mr Young). Munro pleaded not guilty, and was committed for trial. The police said that Munro and Hickiubottom bad carried on business for many .years in partnership. Either had been entitled to receive money's for tbo firm, and to pay them into the common account. • It was alleged that Munro received the moneys and converted them to bis own uso without entering them in tho books.
