WEMBLEY CLUB
It was a happy and .satisfied crowd that left the Wembley Club last Saturday evening. The Early Settlers’ Hall is always well filled, the old dances being very popular. It is a long time since tbo Pioneer Hall presented such a gay scene. The effective decorations, tho attractively covered tables, the colourful flood lights, and tho addition of balloons and streamers gave the desired sotting. The music, provided from a special staging erected in tho centre of tho ballroom, proved very popular. Next Saturday night an added attraction will bo a cabaret interlude featured by Miss Tui Nortbey, Messrs J. M'Farlane, and R. Wilson Brown in some bright snappy numbers. A box of Anlsebrook’s chocolates will bo handed to each lady entering the hall prior to ]() o'clock.
